Georgianna is a coach & consultant who enables the creation of meaningful and effective futures, for individuals and organizations.

Georgianna Marie (“G”) is a transition coach, organizational consultant, educator, facilitator, and advocate and teacher of movement of all kinds – professional, mental, physical, social and spiritual. After a 20-year career in the corporate training and development field, Ms. Marie became a facilitator and consultant in the nonprofit sector. With a background in adult learning and psychology as her foundation, G has combined her many skills and interests to create a coaching and consulting practice that leverages her strengths for the betterment of individuals, teams and organizations. Her mission is to create space that enables people and groups to integrate mind and body, so that they may experience greater effectiveness, meaning and significance. G has an M.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Adult Learning. She is also an International Coach Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and an Advanced Certified Personal & Executive Coach (ACPEC) through the College of Executive Coaching.

Throughout her corporate career, G coached clients and staff members to better their professional performance. When she transitioned into the nonprofit sector, she began working with adults in mid-life transition and discovered the power of applying coaching principles not only to achieve organizational goals, but also to enable individuals to pursue their lifelong dreams and ambitions. Her practice focuses on working with mid-life professionals looking to create more fulfillment and satisfaction in their lives, especially those transitioning out of full-time work and into their “third act”.

Consultant

In her roles as a teacher, coach, facilitator and business owner, G has developed a partnership consulting style. Her approach enables organizations, teams, groups and individuals to discover their own answers and develop plans for achieving their aims. Her consulting practice primarily focuses on working with organizations to address key concerns, by enabling them to assess their needs and how best to address them. She is non-directive in the sense of enabling groups to discover their own answers, yet directive (and organized!) in a way that keeps them on track and holds them accountable to their commitments. She does not prescribe the answers, yet she ensures that your prescription is fulfilled.

Facilitator

G began her professional career as a community college instructor where she discovered her natural facilitation and training skill as she taught writing, business and psychology classes to adult learners. She then moved into corporate training where she led a large training organization for a Fortune 500 financial firm before founding and building her own corporate training and development business. Over the last 30 years, she has facilitated hundreds of workshops, retreats, board meetings, focus groups and a variety of other group sessions. G’s natural ability to see the big picture and to “make order out of chaos” is reflected in her remarkable ability to lead groups through processes toward desired outcomes and acquire new skills.

Advocate/Teacher of Movement

After a successful, decades-long career in corporate training, G felt a strong pull to move “out of her head and into her body,” and experience a more integrated sense of self. Toward this end, G became a certified yoga instructor, competitive ballroom dancer and student of dance. During this time, she also began working with adults in mid-life transition, assisting them in discovering lives of impact and significance. It was through this confluence of events that she began to experience the transformation possible in using movement and music to facilitate meaningful personal development. G applies these principles in a variety of ways throughout her practice as a coach, consultant and facilitator.
